Nasr has 22 years of experience in the information technology business in sales and operations management. He began his career in 2001 as a Master’s degree graduate in computer engineering, rising through the ranks to serve in various managerial roles with major system integrators, service providers, and global software vendors servicing the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Nasr is also known to be an experienced business strategist who has assisted a number of companies in improving their sales and market coverage strategies for the competitive MENA market, resulting in a high rate of return on investment and increased market share. He has mostly focused on cybersecurity since 2014, and he has played a key role in the region’s national cyber defence sector. “I am excited to join this new adventure with the Acronis team and provide support to our growth acceleration in the region. Growing the team and focusing on dedicated territories within the region will be among¬ my priorities. There are a lot of exciting projects in the pipeline for 2022 and we will be making some announcements soon.” Meanwhile earlier this year, the company announced the availability of its cyber cloud data centre in Johannesburg, Gauteng Province, South Africa. This gives service provider partners access to cyber protection solutions upon which they can build new services while delivering faster access, constant data availability, and data sovereignty to their clients.
