Home Industry Energy Abu Dhabi’s NPCC wins Saudi Aramco contract for four offshore platforms The contract comes under the scope of long-term agreement signed in October by Staff Writer May 15, 2017 Abu Dhabi’s National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has been awarded a contract by Saudi Aramco for four offshore platforms and associated submarine pipelines, cables and tie-ins. NPCC CEO Aqeel A Madhi said the deal included engineering, procurement, fabrication, load-out, transportation, installation, hook-up and pre-commissioning work at the Al Safaniya, Zuluf and Berri oil fields. The contract comes under the scope of long-term agreement signed between the two firms in October. The state-owned oil firm has signed a six-year agreement with NPCC and other contractors to deliver offshore oil and gas producing platforms and associated pipelines and cables under its master plan.
