Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will arrive in Pakistan’s Islamabad on Thursday, January 2, for an official day-long visit.

During the visit, Sheikh Mohamed will hold a meeting with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan “to discuss the ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries”, the UAE ambassador in Islamabad said in a statement.

They will also discuss “matters of mutual interest and the regional and global situation”.

The visit is aimed at furthering the ties between the two countries, the statement added.

Sheikh Mohamed previously visited Pakistan on January 6, 2019, just weeks after the UAE offered $3bn to support the country’s economy.
