The executive chairman of Wamda Group and the co-founder of Aramex spent the first 30 years of his career as the CEO of the latter. He transformed it into one of the leading logistics entities in the market, and the first from the Arab world to be listed on Nasdaq and later on the Dubai Financial Market.

His current company, Wamda Group, is a platform involved in investing, nurturing, and building entrepreneurial ecosystems across the Middle East and North Africa.

Ghandour also founded and chairs Ruwwad for Development, a private-sector led community engagement platform that supports marginalised communities across the MENA region.

UAE-based AI startup qeen.ai has secured $10m in seed funding, one of the largest seed investments in the MENA region to date.

The round is led by Prosus Ventures, with participation from existing investors, including Ghandour’s Wamda Capital.
