This figure marks an increase of 30 per cent compared to the first open auction that took place this year which raised Dhs38.21m. Plate (AA 70) was the most expensive auctioned at Dhs3.82m, followed by Plate (X 7777) for Dhs3.80m, ahead of Plate (Z 43) which was sold for Dhs2.85m. Then comes Plate (Y 96) which brought back Dhs2.66m, and Plate (S 888) sold for Dhs2.3m. Highlights of the premium plates auction RTA offered 90 premium plates at the auction comprising two, three, four and five-digits bearing (AA-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z) codes.
