Home Industry Hospitality Nammos Hotels and Resorts launched in joint venture with UAE’s Alpha Dhabi Nammos has confirmed that its first hotel opening will take place as soon as this summer on the Psarou beach in Mykonos by Gulf Business March 28, 2023 Nammos, a brand synonymous with beach clubs and chic dining restaurants around the world, is now launching its own hotel brand. Nammos Hotels and Resorts is a new hospitality brand from ADMO – a joint venture between UAE-listed company Alpha Dhabi and private equity firm Monterock International. Nammos has confirmed that its first hotel opening will take place as soon as this summer on the Psarou beach in Mykonos. Other planned openings include hotels in the Maldives and Abu Dhabi. The choice of Psarou is a noteworthy one considering that Nammos began as a tavern on that beach 20 years ago before expanding worldwide. Details about the number of keys or the exact offerings in the three hotels which have been confirmed were not available, but Nammos said that its hotels would deliver “world-class entertainment, signature gastronomy and unfaltering attention to detail.” “Over the last decade we’ve mastered the art of creating a daytime experience like no other, and are delighted that Alpha Dhabi and Monterock International have set a vision to further fortify the Nammos World brand with the launch of Nammos Hotels and Resorts. The properties are set to embody the lifestyle we’ve created within an unrivalled hospitality experience, and we’re excited for Nammos’ global customers to experience the brand within a hotel setting,” said Zannis Fratzeskos, founding partner of Nammos World. Alpha Dhabi’s hospitality portfolio includes subsidiaries such as St Regis Saadiyat, Abu Dhabi, Cheval Blanc Rhandeli in the Maldives, and Al Wathba Luxury Collection Desert Resort and Spa in Abu Dhabi. Private equity firm Monterock’s hospitality investments meanwhile include luxury properties such as Aman Venice, Nobu Santorini, and Danae Suites in Santorini, among others. “All of us at Monterock International are thrilled to be partnering with Alpha Dhabi via our recent joint venture ADMO and honoured to be building upon Nammos World’s existing lifestyle offerings. We hope to capture the exclusive ambience Nammos World has created over the last 20 years within a hotel setting and are excited for guests to experience this first hand,” said Alfredo Longo, CEO of Monterock International.
