In Sharjah the service is available at Safeer Mall; while in Ras Al Khaimah and Ajman it available at the Air Arabia Sales Shop. The three centres will operate seven days a week, from 9am-9pm, with a break from 11am-2pm on Fridays. The centres will accept baggage between 8-24 hours prior to departure, which is then transported straight to the Sharjah International Airport. Air Arabia’s City Check-ins was first introduced in 2012. It allowed passengers the convenience of dropping off their bags at a location near them before traveling with Air Arabia. The City Check-in service also allows passengers to select seats and receive their boarding passes and baggage claim tags. They can then immediately proceed to the flight upon arrival at the airport. The City Check-in service had been temporarily suspended in the Northern Emirates as a result of the pandemic. As part of its Covid-19 protocols, Air Arabia has also added to the convenience and confidence of passengers by introducing free Covid-19 insurance coverage. The insurance is automatically included as part of the booking with no additional documents required from passengers.
