Participant wins Dhs10m jackpot in UAE’s Mahzooz live draw

In the 50th edition of UAE-based raffle, Mahzooz, held on Saturday, November 6, a participant won the jackpot prize of Dhs10m.

It comes shortly after Junaid Rana, an expat from Pakistan who lives in Dubai, won the previous jackpot of Dhs50m in the 48th edition of the draw which was held a fortnight ago.

In the most recent edition held on November 6, the winning combination of numbers were 36, 38, 26, 4, 37. Post Rana’s win, the rules of Mahzooz were updated and the grand prize was reduced from Dhs50m to Dhs10m, with a participant needing to match five out of five numbers (instead of six out of six) in order to win the jackpot.

Apart from the Dhs10m winner on Saturday, there were also 16 participants who matched four of the five numbers and hence won Dhs62,500 each (they shared the prize of Dhs1m for this category).

Also, 884 participants won Dhs350 each after they matched three of the five numbers.

In a raffle held just prior to the grand prize draw, three participants won Dhs100,000 each too.

Emirates Draw
Another UAE-based weekly draw, the Emirates Draw, also announced its results on Saturday.

The winning combination for the grand prize of Dhs77.7m was 3938253. No one matched six or seven of the numbers in the exact combination.

However, one participant matched five of the seven numbers, winning Dhs77,777, another seven participants matched four of the seven numbers winning Dhs7,777 each.

Meanwhile , 60 participants matched three of the seven numbers and took home Dhs777 each while 596 players matched two of the seven numbers and won Dhs77 each.
