An initiative of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, the challenge will run from October 29 until November 27, 2021.

The challenge encourages Dubai’s residents and visitors to commit to 30 minutes of activity for 30 days, official news agency WAM reported.

The calendar of fitness events and activities this year include Fitness Villages at Kite Beach and Expo 2020 Dubai, and the return of Dubai Run and Dubai Ride.

More than one million residents and visitors are expected to take part in this year’s challenge. Further details, including registration information and line-up for Dubai Fitness Challenge, will be released over the coming weeks.

Over 1,500,000 people took part in last year’s 30×30 Challenge, with more than 200 virtual events taking place. More than 620,000 students from across 600 schools in the country pledged their participation.
