Yano will oversee the GCC, Levant and Africa regions, and will be based in Dubai. Before assuming the president role in the Middle East, Yano was previously the general manager for the Middle East at Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in Tokyo. The veteran automotive executive has spent over 28 years with Mitsubishi. He has also worked across several global markets including those in Europe and the Middle East. “The Middle East is a crucial region for Mitsubishi Motors, and I look forward to working with such dynamic markets that represent a promising platform for growth,” said Yano. “Mitsubishi Motors’ track record of producing quality vehicles will help us tremendously during these unprecedented times.
