The summit, themed “Shaping Future Governments,” aims to anticipate future opportunities and challenges while addressing pressing global issues. The annual conference aims to continue its overarching agenda of fostering cooperation among governments worldwide, share knowledge, and highlight inspiring models in governmental work, reported state news agency WAM. Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, minister of Cabinet Affairs and chairman of the World Governments Summit Organisation, said that the summit reflects the vision of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai in shaping the future and fostering positive change. Notable speakers that are scheduled to attend include President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Türkiye, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, President William Ruto of Kenya, and other heads of state. Themes and sessions The summit will cover six main themes through 15 global forums and over 110 interactive dialogues and sessions. Topics include the Future of Work, Mobility, Climate Action, Sustainable Finance, Scientific Discovery, AI, Geotechnology, and more. Special events Day Zero will host the Arab Fiscal Forum and key meetings like the World Bank Group Ministerial Experience Exchange. Notable sessions on Day One include discussions on Climate Action, Family Business, and Scientific Discovery. Day Two will feature forums on AI, Government Experience Exchange, SDGs in Action, and the Future of Education. The final day will focus on Sustainable Investments, the Future of Space, Global Health, and awards ceremonies. Nobel laureates and thought leaders will share insights alongside ministers and visionaries from around the world.
