NEOM expands its international connections The NEOM Bay flight becomes the Qatari flag carrier’s ninth route to the kingdom. Qatar Airways announced two weekly flights to NEOM Bay with Airbus A320 aircraft starting December 9 from Hamad International Airport in Doha. Flight 1205 departs NEOM Bay for Doha on Saturdays at 2 pm and Thursdays at 01:40 pm. NEOM began its international flight operations in 2022 with Saudi Arabia’s national flag carrier, Saudia operating a weekly round trip flights from NEOM Bay Airport to Dubai International Airport starting June 2022. Qatar-Saudi Arabia routes With the launch of NEOM services, the carrier now offers a total of 125 weekly flights between Doha and Saudi Arabia. Some of the cities served include AlUla (ULH), Dammam (DMM), Jeddah (JED), Medina (MED), Riyadh (RUH), among others. The network provides travelers with a “comprehensive options to explore the diverse landscapes and cultures of this thriving country,” according to a Qatar Airways statement. “We are excited to introduce NEOM as our ninth gateway in Saudi Arabia,” said Qatar Airways group chief executive officer, Badr Mohammed Al Meer. He added, “We believe that the launch of this flight underlines our commitment to providing a seamless travel experience for our passengers in the Saudi market.
