Known as Complex 3, it comprises of 2,874 rooms and can house 9,984 patients. This new facility is in addition to the 46,500-square-foot Al Razeen Field Hospital which was readied in May. It has a capacity of 200 beds for non-critical patients and 50 ICU beds too. On June 7, the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 540 new Covid-19 cases. The total number of cases has reached 38,808 of whom 21,806 have now fully recovered. The ministry also confirmed the death of one Covid-19 patient due to complications, raising the death toll to 276.
