Mountain View founder on bringing human-centred living to Saudi Arabia GULF BUSINESS November 24, 2025 Follow us Follow on Google News Follow on Facebook Follow on Instagram Follow on X Follow on LinkedIn Mountain View’s return to Cityscape Global comes at a pivotal moment in the developer’s expansion into Saudi Arabia—an expansion rooted not in traditional real estate models, but in what founder Eng. Amr Soliman calls a science-based approach to happiness and human-centred living. With more than 50,000 clients across the region, Soliman says the company’s Saudi strategy is built on deep behavioural insight and a philosophy that real estate must “bring land to life” by elevating both the physical and emotional experience of residents. This vision shapes Mountain View’s focus on its “third place” concept—spaces that nurture hobbies, social interaction, and wellbeing—alongside homes designed with a modern interpretation of Salmani architecture and global design influences. In the interview, Soliman outlines Mountain View’s growing Saudi portfolio, including its 500-villa Mountain View One development in north Riyadh and the 1,700-villa Haya (Life) project, together representing more than US$1 billion in investment. He also discusses the company’s partnership-driven model, its collaboration with NHC, and why Mountain View is prioritising delivery and construction excellence before pursuing additional sites across the kingdom. As Soliman puts it, real estate must move beyond buildings and “lead to the happiness of the customer”—a philosophy the company now aims to embed in Saudi Arabia’s fast-evolving residential landscape.
