Speaking to Gulf Business, Yazeed Alghamdi, director of emerging technologies, explained that the initiative has evolved into a major PropTech engine, bringing together students, startups, and industry innovators to develop real solutions for the Kingdom’s real estate sector. “We proudly launched the third version of Roshan Hackathon this year,” he said, noting its role as a strategic pillar within ROSHN’s innovation roadmap. With SAR1.3m in prize funding this year and more than 2,000 submissions across previous editions, the hackathon now spans five themes—from AI and automation to IoT, sustainability, and digital experience—reflecting ROSHN’s ambition to accelerate next-generation technologies across its communities.
