With digital transformation taking over workplaces across the region, the tools available to professionals are getting smarter and more efficient.
One such device, which is aiming to change the perception of a traditional printer’s function, is the Xerox ConnectKey multifunction printer.
Similar to a smartphone, the printer features a gallery of apps — including those from third-party developers — such as an app for proofreading, one for converting text to audio MP3 files, and another for translating documents in over 40 languages.
The technology aims to give users the freedom to solve problems, be more sustainable and productive and take on new challenges.
Xerox is currently moving beyond being a ‘printer/ copier’ company and is heavily investing in 3D printing, AI and IoT to create sensors for analytics and monitoring.
To help users gain an insight into the future of technology and solutions that can optimise businesses while offering value for money, Xerox Emirates is also holding an event in Dubai on the November 12, 2019 at the Caesars Bluewater Island.
