The blaze erupted after a petroleum tanker was involved in a road accident. Civil Defences forces in Makkah confirmed on early on Tuesday that the tanker and 10 vehicles caught fire, but added that there were no injuries. A video posted to the Makkah region’s official Twitter account showed the fire stretching across the side of the highway.
