Home GCC Saudi Arabia Video: Man drives car into Grand Mosque in Makkah The Saudi national has been referred to the Public Prosecution by Varun Godinho November 1, 2020 A Saudi national was arrested after he drove a car into the Grand Mosque in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, on Friday night. Video footage showed the vehicle travelling at high speed, crashing through several barriers, and then coming to a halt, but only after having rammed into one of the doors at around 10.30pm. Security officials were seen rushing towards the car. They arrested the man who was pulled out from the vehicle, local media reported.
