Biden, President of the US will be conducting an official visit to Saudi Arabia on July 15-16, 2022,” a statement issued by the Royal Court said. The statement added that during the visit, the US President will meet King Salman and Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz – Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister – to discuss areas of bilateral cooperation as well as efforts to address regional and global challenges, Saudi Press Agency reported. On July 16, the US President will also attend a joint summit, convened by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the King of Jordan, the President of Egypt, and the Prime Minister of Iraq, it read. This will mark the US premier’s first trip to the kingdom.
