The Ultra Abu Dhabi music festival has become the latest event to be postponed over concerns related to the coronavirus outbreak.

The event, scheduled to be held from March 5-6 at the Du Arena, has been postponed due to health precautions and travel restrictions in some countries.

The new dates have not yet been revealed.

The official website states that tickets will be refunded through the original point of purchase.

The festival featured a line-up of the some of the world’s biggest electronic, dance and techno DJs including AfroJack, Eric Prydz and Seth Troxler.

Several events globally and regionally have been cancelled or postponed over fears of the coronavirus, which is continuing to spread across the world.

The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona was cancelled last month, while the ASEAN meeting as well as global fashion weeks in Beijing and Shanghai – all scheduled for March – have been postponed.

Locally, the Dubai International Boat Show, scheduled to be held later this month, has been postponed to November, while the Dubai Lynx has also been shifted to September.
