Home GCC UAE UAE’s Sharjah mourns death of royal family member Sheikh Ahmed was the brother of Sharjah Crown Prince and Deputy ruler Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi by Staff Writer April 3, 2018 The ruling court of Sharjah on Tuesday announced the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi. Sheikh Ahmed was the brother of Sharjah Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi and Sheikh Salem bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi. The ruler’s court expressed “its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and members of Al Qasimi family, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in Paradise”, according to state news agency WAM. Funeral prayers will be held on Wednesday morning at King Faisal Mosque, Sharjah. The body will then be taken for burial at Al Jubail cemetery. Condolences will be accepted at Al-Badee Palace in Sharjah from 9:00am tomorrow for three days. A three-day mourning period has also been declared across the emirate, during which UAE flags will be flown at half mast. 0 Comments
