Home Industry Trade UAE’s non-oil foreign trade grows 17% in 2022 This is the first time that the country’s non-oil foreign trade has surpassed the Dhs2tn mark by Zainab Mansoor February 7, 2023 The UAE’s non-oil foreign trade reached a record Dhs2.33tn ($608bn) in 2022, up 17 per cent over the previous year. China was the UAE’s main trading partner for 2022, followed by India, Saudi Arabia, and the US. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, chaired the cabinet meeting at Qasr Al Watan Abu Dhabi, on Monday. “During the Cabinet meeting, we reviewed the results of the UAE’s foreign trade in 2022. In 2022, the UAE signed three comprehensive economic partnership agreements – The agreement with India was signed in February last year, while the pact with Israel was inked in May.
