The platform will furnish an analytical overview of air cargo movements within, to and from the UAE. By assessing the performance of national airlines, ground handling agents, and express service providers, CARDS facilitates data-driven decision-making, enabling stakeholders to identify strengths and weaknesses to enhance competitiveness. CARDS to ensure air cargo efficiency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and chairman of GCAA, emphasised the UAE’s advanced status in air cargo efficiency, attributed to robust infrastructure and logistics services. Al Marri underscored CARDS as a pivotal step towards bolstering the UAE’s global leadership in the sector, aligning with national development plans and the ‘We the UAE 2031′ vision. Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, director-general of GCAA, highlighted the platform’s role in fostering collaboration between the authority and stakeholders. He affirmed CARDS’ commitment to continuous enhancement, ensuring comprehensive coverage of cargo movements and trade exchanges across the nation.
