Home Industry Food UAE’s Kibsons temporarily suspends home delivery services An incident at the company’s warehouse has led to a temporary disruption in home delivery services by Zainab Mansoor July 26, 2020 UAE-based importer and distributor of vegetables, dairy products, and meat, Kibsons has announced a temporary suspension of home delivery services for the rest of the week. The suspension comes on the back of an incident, in which a forklift truck hit a main cooling pipe at the company’s warehouse, causing significant damage. The incident, which resulted in immediate evacuation, occurred on the morning of July 26. “Thankfully no one was hurt, however, this incident has caused significant damage to Kibsons warehouse and all stock, with the team currently unable to access the warehouse until the premises are safe, resulting in the suspension of home delivery service for the rest of the week,” a statement read. Kibsons is assessing the extent of the damage, and has updated all customers via email. Meanwhile, client orders have been refunded. Kibsons offers a range of quality fresh fruit and vegetables from all continents, in addition to imported and processed meat, poultry products, organic spices and oils, honey and healthy drinks.
