Light to moderate winds causing blowing dust with poor visibility at times are expected across the country, the UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has said.

NCM took to Twitter to issue an alert, advising the public to be cautious.

Suspended dust reduced the horizontal visibility to less than 1,500m over Sharjah International Airport and less than a 1,000m over Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. Meanwhile, light to moderate winds, causing blowing dust are expected to persist throughout the week.

“The sea will be slight to moderate, becoming rough at times Westward in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea,” NCM said in its weather bulletin.

Temperatures across internal areas in the UAE are expected to scale as high as 45°C on Wednesday, with lows touching 22°C. Meanwhile, temperatures will hover between 21-41°C in the coastal areas and islands, and between 19-26°C among the mountains.
