Home GCC UAE UAE public schools to resume onsite education from February 14 Abu Dhabi will allow all schools in the emirate to resume in-clasroom teaching from February 14, with the option of e-learning available until the end of this academic year by Gulf Business February 3, 2021 The gradual and phased return of on-site learning for all academic levels in public schools across the country will begin from February 14, 2021, until the end of the academic year, the UAE’s Ministry of Education has announced. Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi’s Emergency Crisis and Disaster Committee took to Twitter on Wednesday morning confirming that in-classroom education would resume for all grades and schools starting February 14. It did not restrict the directive to public schools in the emirate and hence private schools too are supposedly covered under this decision. It added that e-learning will continue to remain an option for students in Abu Dhabi schools until the end of the current academic year. In December, officials in Abu Dhabi stated that all school students in the capital emirate will have remote learning for the first two weeks of the new term, starting January 3.
