UAE reports 994 new Covid-19 cases, 4 deaths

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 994 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, May 22.

The total number of infections detected in the country has risen to 27,892.

The new cases were identified following over 50,000 additional tests which were conducted to screen for the virus.

All of the newly-detected cases are in a stable condition and are receiving the necessary care.

The ministry reported four new deaths on Friday among patients belonging to different nationalities too.

A total of 241 people have died as a result of the virus.

Also, officials reported 1,043 new recoveries taking the total number of recoveries in the country up to 13,798.
