The new cases were detected, after 279,163 tests were conducted to screen for the virus. The health ministry also announced 637 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 895,736. No deaths were reported in the previous 24 hours, keeping the death toll unchanged at 2,305.
