The new cases were detected, after 242,364 tests were conducted to screen for the virus. The health ministry also announced 449 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 892,687. No deaths were reported in the previous 24 hours, keeping the death toll unchanged at 2,305. The Covid-19 nationwide case count has risen to 909,222.
