The new infections were reported, after 307,646 tests were conducted to screen for the virus. The health ministry also announced 70 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 737,400. One Covid-19 related death has been recorded in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 2,149. Meanwhile, the nationwide case count has now risen to 742,376.
