The new cases were detected as a result of 34,000 Covid-19 tests conducted to screen for the virus. The Ministry of Health and Prevention confirmed that the total number of cases detected in the country has risen to 44,533. Additional 34,000 Covid-19 tests were conducted by @mohapuae revealing 388 new cases and bringing the total number of cases to 44,533. Therefore, 31,754 people have made a full recovery after contracting the virus. There was one new death reported too due to complications, added the ministry. It expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased. The total number of fatalities now stands at 301.
