UAE reports 1,788 Covid-19 cases, 1,940 recoveries

The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 1,788 Covid-19 cases on July 1.

The new cases were detected after 300,076 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also announced 1,940 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 927,789.

One death was reported in the previous 24 hours, increasing the death toll to 2,317.

The Covid-19 nationwide case count has risen to 947,588.
