The new cases were detected after 264,135 tests were conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry also announced 1,568 recoveries in the past 24 hours, raising the total recovery count to 936,594. Three deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 2,322.
