Home Covid-19 UAE reports 1,089 Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths The nationwide case count stands at 705,089 by Zainab Mansoor August 18, 2021 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has reported 1,089 Covid-19 infections on August 18. The new cases were detected, in the wake of 327,616 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus. An additional 1,605 recoveries were also revealed in the past 24 hours, spiking the total recoveries to 684,414. Meanwhile, three additional deaths due to Covid-19 related complications has scaled the death toll to 2,009.
