UAE President Sheikh Mohamed meets Israeli Prime Minister

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received the Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett at Al Shati Palace on June 9.

Naftali Bennett offered his condolences to the UAE President and the Emirati people on passing of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He also praised the role played by the late Khalifa bin Zayed to extend bridges of communication and peace globally.

The Israeli Prime Minister also congratulated Sheikh Mohamed on becoming president and said that his country looked forward to working jointly for the prosperity of their people and for those residing in the region, official news agency WAM reported.

Sheikh Mohamed also extended his gratitude and wished stability for the Israeli people. During the meeting, both leaders discussed cooperation and development opportunities in various investment, economic, and development sectors as well as food security and health fields, among other sectors.

The Israeli Prime Minister was seen off by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
