Home GCC UAE UAE President orders early payment of salaries for Eid All federal government workers, retirees and social welfare beneficaries will receive their salaries early for the Islamic holiday by Staff Writer June 12, 2017 UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has ordered the early payment of government salaries under the directives of President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Under the plans, all salaries for federal government employees, social welfare beneficiaries and retirees will be paid on June 20 to help families meet their needs in the build-up to Eid al-Fitr, according to state news agency WAM. HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces later ordered the early payment of June salaries for employees of local government entities in Abu Dhabi, and retirees in line with the directives. Following this, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Ajman, HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, and Supreme Council member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, HH Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, also ordered early salary transfers for all employees in their respective government departments and institutions.
