Home GCC UAE UAE president appoints new minister Ahmed bin Al Sayegh is the chairman of Abu Dhabi Global Market by Staff Writer September 9, 2018 UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a federal decree appointing the chairman of financial free zone Abu Dhabi Global Market as minister of state. Ahmed bin Al Sayegh started his career at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and founded Aldar Properties in 2004. Read: Abu Dhabi’s new financial freezone begins operations Over the last few years he has served as a board member at companies including Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company and Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority and deouty chairman of First Gulf Bank. He currently sits on the board of Etihad Airways and is managing director of gas pipeline firm Dolphin Energy. Sheikh Khalifa also appointed Dr Ahmed bin Mubarak Ali Rashid Al-Mazrouei as chairman of the office of Abu Dhabi Ruler at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs. 0 Comments
