The telco urged all users with expired ID registrations to renew the registration of their numbers before January 31 to avoid their services being cut-off. All those who renewed the ID registration entered the draw to win the luxury car. The 31-year-old carpenter, who works in Ras Al Khaimah, told local daily Gulf News that he immediately sold the car and sent the money home. “I can’t do anything with this car. So, I sold it with the help of a local broker. I heard the actual price is Dhs900,000. But I got only Dhs600,000 and I gave Dhs25,000 as commission to the broker,” he told the paper. He was also extremely thankful to du. “This unexpected prize has improved the future of my life and also the lives of my friends and family,” he said. “It is truly life changing and I am blessed and overwhelmed at the opportunities this has provided me.
