FAHR plans to conduct introductory workshops on the General Framework for Employment Patterns and Flexible Work Types in Federal Government throughout February. These workshops aim to educate HR Managers and officials in ministries and federal entities to ensure proper implementation and maximum benefit.

The framework aligns with the UAE’s strategy for future work governance, ensuring business continuity and task performance within federal entities during official working hours. This framework represents a significant addition to proactive measures, adaptability, and flexibility within Human Resources Legislation in the federal government. Additionally, it contributes to the objectives of the “We the UAE 2031” vision, focusing on enhancing government performance, developing business models, improving effectiveness, and building an ideal model for managing human resources and government competencies.

Background

The approval of the framework reflects the UAE government’s commitment to modernising its workforce policies to adapt to evolving work environments and technological advancements, reported WAM.
