The decision was announced by the Media Regulatory Office of the Ministry of Culture and Youth and issued by the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA). Each emirate can modify its cinema capacity accordingly, and can ease or tighten procedures as it deems fit, official news agency WAM reported. Meanwhile, stadium capacity has also been raised to 100 per cent for football matches, the UAE Football Association (UAEFA) in coordination with NCEMA and the UAE Pro League, have decided. However, entry will only be granted to those aged 12 and above, with their Alhosn app reflecting a green status, proving that they have received a UAE-approved Covid-19 vaccine, in addition to a negative PCR test result taken less than 96 hours from the day of the match. Following lower infection rates, the UAE has gradually lifted Covid-19 restrictions on various events and activities in the country, allowing them to operate to full capacity.
