Home GCC UAE UAE artwork unveiled at new Sharjah exhibition Maraya Art Centre collections focuses on themes of cultural mix and migration. by Eleanor Dickinson March 1, 2016 The Maraya Art Centre in Sharjah has unveiled its latest collection of United Arab Emirates-produced artwork. The Al Haraka Baraka, In Movement there is Blessing, collection features work from 10 local and UAE-raised artists under the theme of the country’s cultural mix. The centre will feature four exhibitions this year showcasing work from more than 100 artists. A number of workshops will also take place throughout the year, starting with a crafts and ceramic week organised by the British Crafts Council between March 14 to 18. Ammar Al Attar.
