UAE announces holiday for Prophet’s birthday
Public and private sector workers will get one day off on Thursday, December 24

The United Arab Emirates has declared Thursday, December 24 as a holiday for public sector workers to observe the birthday of Prophet Mohammed, officials have confirmed.
Ministries and federal departments will resume work after the weekend on December 27.
Private sector will also have one day off on December to mark the occasion, the ministry of Labour said.
