The soldier was taking part in the Saudi-led Arab Coalition’s Operation Restoring Hope in Yemen. The GHQ of the UAE Armed Forces extended its condolences to his family and relatives, official news agency WAM reported. The Saudi-led coalition has been fighting Houthi rebels and forces loyal to former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh in Yemen since March 2015, in a bid to restore President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi to power. The conflict has killed thousands and left many homeless in Yemen. Several Saudi and UAE soldiers have also been killed in clashes in the country. 0 Comments
