Effective immediately in Greece and effective May 18 in the UAE, individuals from both countries holding vaccination certificates will not need to quarantine upon arrival, while abiding by other precautionary measures, official news agency WAM reported. Citizens and residents will be required to show documentation that they have received the last dose of a Covid-19 vaccine as per the approved applications or certificates issued by health authorities. Travellers can also present PCR laboratory test results through these applications. The move aims to facilitate the movement of individuals, promote tourism between the two countries, and achieve the desired goals of vaccination campaigns, the report said. The UAE also established a safe travel corridor with the Seychelles for fully vaccinated individuals, it announced last week.
