Dr Samer Ellahham, Chief Quality Officer, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City

Samer Ellahham, MD, FACP, FACC, FAHA, FCCP was appointed as Chief Quality Officer of SKMC in November 2009 and also serves as a Senior Consultant at the Cardiac Institute.

Dr. Ellahham received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut School of Medicine in Lebanon. Dr. Ellahham completed his residency in internal medicine at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC and his fellowship in cardiology at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA.

Dr. Ellahham is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Vascular Medicine. He is American Society Clinical Specialist in Hypertension, Founding member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and Level III certified in CTA by the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He is a member of many other U.S. healthcare societies and is a winner of several awards in his field.  Dr Ellahham sits on the editorial board of the Open Access Journal of Clinical Trials, Hypertension Today, Focus on Hypertension and a reviewer of several other peer-review journals.

Satoshi Tsunakawa, Corporate Senior Vice President, President & CEO, Toshiba Corporation Healthcare Company which is the Toshiba’s internal company launched at 1st July 2014, has deep knowledge on medical systems.

He plays a leading role for expanding Toshiba’s healthcare business which is one of its three main business pillars, a market that is estimated to grow from now on.

He specially contributed to the sales of medical equipment with a focus on CT in the United States from 2004 to 2008 when he was residing as President & CEO, Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc.

His major was international relations , graduated from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, the University of Tokyo in Mar.1979, joined Toshiba Corporation in Apr 1979 with over 35 years’ experience.
