The discussion will focus on prevention and early detection of lifestyle-related diseases. Lifestyle-related disease in the Middle East is on the rise among people due to the fast food culture, long working hours and other lifestyle factors. The discussion will discuss some of the solutions to tackling and preventing lifestyle related diseases.Obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure, are typically lifestyle related conditions which then may lead to more serious diseases like cancer, heart disease and strokes. For example, there are many common links between diabetes and cancer and people with diabetes are 1.2 times more likely to get cancer. Regular medical check-ups and cutting edge diagnostics will play an important role in early detection.
