Home Middle East Yemen Three women in Saudi’s Jazan injured in missile attack Shrapnel from the missile attack wounded the three women and damaged one house by Gulf Business May 27, 2020 Three women faced minor injuries in a missile attack in a border town in the Saudi city of Jazan, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday. Mohammed bin Yahya Al-Ghamdi, spokesman for the Civil Defense in Jazan, said the control centre received a report about a militray missile that was fired by the Houthis towards a town located near the Yemeni border in Jazan. Shrapnel from the attack wounded the three women and damaged one house, the SPA report stated. The women were transferred to a hospital and their condition is stable. In late March, two civilians in Saudi capital Riyadh were also slightly injured after being hit by the debris of a ballistic missile fired from Yemen. The missile, which was intercepted and destroyed by the Royal Saudi Air Defense, exploded in mid-air over residential districts.
