Violating companies will be fined Dhs5,000 per worker per breach, up to a maximum of Dhs50,000 if multiple workers are found in violation
Daily working hours, in the morning and evening shifts, shall not exceed eight hours during the months of the midday break
The midday work break was implemented for the 19th year in a row
