The issuance attracted interest from more than 100 global and regional investors with the final order book closing at $2.6bn
Proceeds of the sukuk will be used in accordance with Aldar’s Green Finance Framework to finance green initiatives and acquisitions
The airline has committed to net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and a 50 per cent reduction in net emissions by 2035
The listings consist of a 10-year issuance of $1bn and two issuances of $750m each
