The GCC Supreme Council also urged for the need to accelerate the establishment of a joint customs union and the GCC Common Market
The announcement comes after the UAE restored ties with Qatar earlier this month
Scheduled and unscheduled flights between the two countries will resume operations from Saturday
It ends a blockade of Qatar by Saudi Arabia that began in 2017
The 41st GCC Summit is set to be held in the Saudi capital on January 5, 2021
